Do you really think there's anything we can do?

No - or rather, he doesn't speak of such creations ( nuala doesn't say abominations but she does think it ) but I am certain that he'd not them away, were they interested.
No, Professor Xavier speaks of a natural mutation, of a new subspecies of mortal kind emerging in his world.

I don't, no, though I know there are those who hold that opinion. The idea that 'magic' is merely a word for something not understood is foolishness to one who understands it perfectly well. I would allow, of course, that it may be so that magic is something that can be understood scientifically, for isn't it a search for knowledge? I don't speak of magic with the intention to depress curiosity, after all.
What I do think is that we will learn from one another, that we will be able to find ways to work hand in glove with one another, to bring our disciplines together in ways we can't yet foresee.

[As in he's nearly snapped several times and is afraid he's going to be kicked off security and can't sleep.
He didn't come in with a game plan better than "how are you," and so the next question is thought up after an awkward length of time:]
Have you been baking?
